The Parent Backpack

A practical self-paced online programme containing tools, techniques, mindset and strategy to support you in parenting a young person with mental health difficulties.

The Power of 3

We use three key elements in the programme to weave a powerful experience that will enable you to support yourself as you parent your young person.

Focused on YOU

You cannot pour from an empty cup. This programme is about supporting you as a parent, so that you can in turn support your young person, no matter what mental health difficulty they are experiencing.

Simple not easy

Simple, but not necessarily easy when you're faced with these huge challenges. We keep it simple and easy to understand because that's what works.

Practical action

The Parent Backpack programme is all about action. For things to be different you need to do things differently, and that is our focus.

At your own pace

We live in very busy times, and so everything we do is bite-sized and can fit into your life.

We are here to meet you where you are, so that you can get what you need from the programme.

Everything we do is about you and for you, so that you can parent your young person in the best way possible.

Get in Touch

Our signature programme.

This programme is not a mental health programme for young people. Participating in it will not make your young person's mental health difficulties go away. It is designed to support you with how you parent your young person during these challenging times, so that your parenting is not part of the problem.
